This Is It
At long last the Meralco electric company made its long term move against illegal connection situated in Saint Joseph Park Subdivision Pulanlupa Dos, Las Pinas City. "This is it!" Just look at the picture while one of the crew is fixing and replacing the old main wires with a new one. That orange wire will serve and protect against electric pilferage.

Connecting to a Lifeline
Here is an old picture taken in 2002, showing an actual shot on illegal connection at Saint Joseph Subdivision. This activity was one of their regular illegal acts--to maintain a continuous lifeline for sucking out electric power which burdens some owners to pay more than what we consumed. It’s very ironic that MERALCO is lenient to this kind of activity and not doing a permanent solution to eliminate this illegal connection.
Opps! Have you read it? Yeah, your right! I just said “SOME” homeowners also committed an illegal connection and these people were penalized for paying around a couple thousands of pesos and that depends on the damaged they have done. Anyway, want I want to point is, that if you are a legitimate homeowner and caught from an illegal connection, these people are forced to pay twice the amount of what they have consumed, plus the possibility to get jailed.
What I don’t understand, why the hell those shanties were managed and escape from what the law have to serve for this kind of illegal activity. Are they politically immune? Or just because they were voters? WTF, we are also legitimate voters of Las Pinas City. C’mon don’t just rely on reports before making a move, because MERALCO is a corporation and have enough manpower to do that for them selves.
Make your KURYENTE WATCH campaign more meaningful rather than just displaying it in your website. Make a move and make a difference… and do not wait for someone else to shout and cry for help.

Meralco Illegal Connection
We have decided and created this blog in order to call the attention of MERALCO. Its about time to make a move against illegal connection situated at Saint Joseph Park Subdivision Pulanlupa Dos, Las Pinas City. This said dilemma had been going on for the past 18 years of non-stop illegal activity done by the united squatters of Saint Joseph Subdivision.
This dilemma had been a burden to us who paid and been an abiding citizen through out the years to pay for every kilowatts that has been stolen by hundred of shanties situated at Saint Joseph Subdivision Pulanlupa Dos, Las Pinas City. This said illegal activity had consumed an estimated of around 6.480 Megawatts of stolen electric power for the last eighteen years up to the present.
This estimate is based on the number of families (around 100 squatters) who leave for the past 18 years at Saint Joseph Subdivision, and on the average these squatters were consuming around 300 kw per month because their houses are equipped with television sets, refrigerators, electric stoves, electric fan, incandescent lights, washing machine, karaoke machine and maybe more.
Amazingly, these shanties had leave their life to the fullest for not paying anything aside from contributing their hundred bucks for purchasing a copper wire every time there's a raid conducted by MERALCO team.
On the other hand, this situation remains us from being a buffer and a long term host for paying out for their convenience, and leaves us from continuously tightening our belts to save a little amount of money to pay for our necessity rightfully and legally. Culprits must serve and penalize by the authorities and must not be taken for granted.
We are appealing and addressing this illegal activity issue to the MERALCO, the E.R.C.(Energy Regulatory Commission and in behalf of Mayor Nene Aguilar and Senator Manny Villar to protect us from this untolerable situation that affects our micro economy and causing effects and contributing lost to the entire economy.
